In short, our approach is to support a person in the way that most helps them transform their life, in pursuit of our belief that work's for everyone.Allied Health Professionals have a diverse role, offering opportunity to assist job seekers who have complex barriers to employment by conducting assessments, undertaking a variety of therapeutic interventions, facilitating groups, and providing recommendations to appropriate vocational and non-vocational services.This is a permanent opportunity with full-time hours.Key duties of the role will include:Conduct thorough assessments of candidates with a range of disability and barriers to employment;Offer counselling intervention as needed, utilising various psychological methodologies;Refer candidates to additional external support services to help address barriers;Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases;Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates;Provide training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological services and procedures.Minimum Requirements:Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology with eligibility for registration with APHRA;Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Counselling, or eligibility to gain, membership with ACA / PACFA;Experience working within employment services highly regarded but not essential;Knowledge of psychology assessment/intervention strategies;Exceptional communication, rapport building skills and engagement;Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports;Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients;Ability to provide a Police Clearance (within 6 months) and Work with Children's Check.Benefits:A competitive salary depending on experience;Laptop + Phone;Ongoing career development and national opportunities;Job stability and guaranteed full-time hours;Access to a range of benefits including discounts for health insurance, access to psychology services, ability to purchase additional leave, roadside assistance, and paid parental leave.You are welcome here.Our fast-growing team of more than 3,500 people around Australia represent a huge array of life experiences, skills, and ways of thinking.
