Come join our team and apply your skills, passion, and knowledge in making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people in the North of Tasmania.  We are seeking senior allied health professionals with experience in clinical leadership, complex case management, assessment, counselling and/or therapy, and within mental health or relevant/related sector would be ideal. You would be working within a well-supported, diverse multidisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate treatment with children, young people, and their families. 
Our Aim: The Child and Youth Mental Health Service in Tasmania is growing! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Clinical Lead to provide clinical services to children, young people and their families/significant others experiencing mental health concerns. The position available is within our new teams which are currently being developed as initiatives under the CAMHS reform program (Youth, Youth Forensic, Out of Home Care).
The Clinical Lead will have a passion for providing a person-centred approach and working within a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high level clinical leadership to the team.
Leadership training is available and provided by the Tasmanian Health Service in partnership with University of Tasmania.The role will include: Being part of a dynamic and well supported team committed to delivering high quality mental health services to children, young people, and their families/carers.Undertaking clinical services through the provision of complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programsWorking alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new child and youth mental health services in Tasmania. Leading and working with an amazing and diverse group of clinicians as part of the collaborative multidisciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as requiredNote: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
North Based in Launceston CBD.The North of the state is an area of natural beauty where you will have easy access to the Cataract George, waterfalls, bush walks, beautiful beaches, and excellent mountain biking tracks.Launceston is a great place to raise children with access to some of Tasmania's prestigious schools.It is truly a beautiful part of Kanamaluka/Lutruwita.An attractive relocation package and support for international visa requirements may be available for successful applicants.
One permanent full time day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies. Salary: $120,114 - $130,181 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. 
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
