The Department of Health is seeking a highly self-motivated Allied Health Professional to join the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Reform team located in Northern Tasmania.

The Role: As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, the Allied Health Professional will:
Undertake the delivery of quality recovery-focused services to clients of the Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment, and Older Persons Mental Health Service based on best practice principles and within a recovery framework. Service delivery is within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework, that includes those with lived experiences.Provide a specialist assessment and consumer-led treatment service to clients of Child and Adolescent, Adult Community, Inpatient and Extended Treatment, and Older Persons Mental Health Service and their families or carers.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
The Team: CYMHS is undergoing an exciting reform process to expand the service to the young people in Northern Tasmania. Our team of clinicians work closely with other service providers to ensure excellent outcomes for our consumers.

Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $110,425 - $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022.You'll have access to salary packaging a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.Benefits available to eligible candidates: Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees.Professional development and accelerated pathways.Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible.Fitness Passport – You and your family can access 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family.Eligibility: Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable as determined by individual position requirements).Current Driver's Licence.
