As the Allied Health Manager, you will provide professional leadership, mentoring, support and specialist advice.
You will manage a busy, growing Allied Health team responsible formental health inpatient andoutpatient services.You will also be able to apply your clinical skills in the delivery of services for our patients, including some of our various evidence based group therapy programs.
Thisopportunityis open to allMental Health Accredited, Allied Health qualifiedstaff that are looking for a management role. This position oversees the entire Allied Health team,including social workers, psychologists and counsellors.
Your Skills and Experience Current registration with AHPRA (or AASW membership for Social Workers)
Minimum three (3) years post-graduate experience in clinical mental health service delivery.Previous experience working in a private hospital settingStrong group therapy skills including experience facilitating CBT, ACT, & DBT based group therapy in a clinical setting.Strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage a multidisciplinary teamExcellent communication skills, problem solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure.Overall,you will be an effective and approachable leader with a natural ability to build rapport and effective relationships with both internal and external clientele.
