We work in partnership with healthcare providers, including Allied Health, General Practice, Pharmacy, and Aged Care, to deliver innovative, evidence-based primary care solutions.We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Allied Health Engagement Lead to join our team.
This role is pivotal in driving and facilitating effective engagement with the allied health sector across the Murrumbidgee region.
The successful candidate will provide leadership in coordination, advocacy, and education while establishing strong partnerships to support the implementation of evidence-based primary care.
This is a real opportunity for someone who is passionate about improving primary care to make their mark!For the ultimately flexibility, this role can be based within the Murrumbidgee region and we are happy to consider a hybrid work arrangement with flexibility on work days in the office.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Strategy: Develop, lead, and implement activities as part of MPHN's Allied Health Engagement Strategy in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Partnership Development: Foster and maintain productive relationships with primary healthcare stakeholders, including Allied Health, General Practice, Pharmacy, and Aged Care.Communication: Ensure effective communication channels with allied health providers and peak bodies.Digital Health Support: Assist allied health providers with the adoption of digital health tools, enhancing connectivity, and increasing access to MPHN's Health Pathways.Multidisciplinary Care: Lead efforts to engage allied health in developing new models of multidisciplinary care and team-based approaches.Workforce Collaboration: Identify opportunities to collaborate with key workforce organisations to address workforce needs and contribute to the MPHN workforce strategy.Education and Training: Identify and facilitate joint education and training opportunities focusing on prevention and early intervention.Industry Trends: Stay informed of relevant industry or legislative changes and emerging trends.Project Management: Contribute to the development of project plans and provide updates as required.Committee Participation: Support and participate in relevant steering committees.Meetings and Travel: Attend meetings and work-related functions including travel to other regions where overnight stays may be required.Key Criteria – About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Demonstrated experience in a leadership role within the healthcare sector, preferably within allied health.Strong understanding of the allied health landscape and the challenges and opportunities within primary care.Proven ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with a variety of stakeholders.Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.Experience with digital health tools and an understanding of their application in primary care.A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities.A commitment to continuous improvement and quality management.Willingness to travel across the Murrumbidgee region.A current drivers license is required.Why Join the MPHN Team?At MPHN, you'll be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team that values excellence and innovation.
