Benefits: Generous salary packaging, six weeks annual leave and flexible working arrangements Salary: $91,305 – 99,877 Location: Darwin About the Opportunity The Allied Health Development Officer is responsible for driving the successful planning and implementation of emerging NT PHN Allied Health Multidisciplinary Team Care initiatives part of the Strengthening Medicare agenda.
The position provides strategic direction and oversight of projects aligned with organisational, national and local priorities, builds and maintains productive working relationships with relevant stakeholders, with a focus on allied health.
If you have the following skills and experience, we'd love to chat: Qualifications in a recognised Allied Health profession1 and/or relevant working experience in multidisciplinary health care service planning / delivery.
Experience in working with allied health in primary care settings in various capacities, including clinical, quality improvement, strategy and policy, service design and systems thinking.
Education and knowledge related to project management, engagement and systems thinking are highly desirable.
Work autonomously, under pressure, and exercise initiative and evidence-based judgement.
Managing projects from inception to completion, with a strong ability to plan, execute, and monitor project activities.
Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external partners and stakeholders in an environment requiring cultural sensitivity and thin markets.
Preparing high level documentation including reports, briefing notes, discussion papers, guidelines, policies and procedures.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and the capacity to work under pressure, prioritising to achieve contemporary, fit for purpose, innovative and timely outputs.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
