An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Allied Health Clinician within the Perinatal Mental Health Team to deliver specialist evidence based mental health assessment, care planning, treatment, and review for women in the perinatal period and provide support to their families and carers. Provide care to pregnant women and support their care of infants to one year of age, maternal/infant attachment, screening, specialist consultation, liaison, education, and support to other health providers in relation to perinatal mental health.

The Together in Mind program is a collaborative perinatal and infant mental health day program developed by the Queensland Centre for Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (QCPIMH) and funded by the Department of Health. Together in Mind provides psychoeducation and support for women who have a diagnosed moderate to severe mental illness in the postpartum period.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south to Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:
Deliver independent high-level psychology/social work/occupational therapy clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.Assume primary responsibility for the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the Together in Mind program.Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced psychology/social work/occupational therapy practitioners and students as delegated.Remuneration value up to $76 388 p.a., comprising salary rates $62.75 - $67.53 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (part time position, 38 hrs p.f.).
