Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network – Location Negotiable Within Region AHP3 | Part Time 0.5 FTE | Temporary (up to 26 December 2025) Base Salary Range: $104,180 - $111,746 p.a (pro rata) In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

FUNLHN Information Page.pdf Service: Allied and Community Health Service Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members.
Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek.
We offer a wide range of centre-based, in-home and community-based services to people of all ages and tailor our services to best meet our client needs.

With extensive clinical expertise and experience, this position leads allied health workforce education and the coordination of student placements across a variety of Allied Health disciplines, including occupational therapy (OT), physiotherapy (PT), social work (SW), speech pathology (SP), dietetics (DT), podiatry (POD), and orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) in rural and remote settings.
In collaboration with universities and senior clinical educators from the Rural Support Service (RSS), the Clinical Educator supports students and supervisors, delivers high-quality teaching, facilitates research, and provides valuable insights on clinical education and development.
This role ensures a comprehensive, supportive learning environment for students, fostering professional growth for both students and supervisors.
As a key advisor to FUNLHN Executive and university partners, the Clinical Educator contributes to strategic workforce education and development, promoting FUNLHN as a leading, contemporary workplace.
The role also takes a lead in developing and progressing key initiatives like the Student Cadetship Model, ensuring that the objectives of the Community and Allied Health Directorate are achieved with excellence and within budgetary guidelines.

– Allied Health About You: Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant allied health profession and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Professional Association.
For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements must be fulfilled to achieve and maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA).
For self-regulated professions, it is desirable to participate in the professional associations accredited continuous professional development program.
A higher qualification in a relevant area such as health service management, professional specialisation/clinical education will be highly regarded.
Provide expert clinical and consultancy services across Flinders & Upper North LHN and professional networks.
Work independently, applying advanced techniques with clinical competence and reflective practice.
Use knowledge of LHN's strategy, operations, and workforce to manage complex tasks.
Advise on service development and improvements based on client needs.
Apply advanced techniques with professional independence and expertise.
May manage a clinical caseload or supervise staff.

Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances) Applicant Information: This is a part time vacancy, working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
