These roles support the delivery of patient care by supporting Allied Health professionals with the provision of mental health patient care programs including group and individual treatments, and related activities under the Allied Health professional's direction.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services. The purpose-built Mental Health Unit includes a Youth Unit for people aged between 16 and 24 years, a Mother and Baby Unit, and an assessment Unit providing a therapeutic environment for patients requiring short term admission.
Cockburn Hospital is a new purpose-built Mental Health facility which has 75 beds, a day hospital and outpatient clinics. It specialises in women's mental health, eating disorders and addiction.

A copy of your current CV A statement no more than four (4) pages which answers the following questions: What is the role of an Allied Health Assistant in an inpatient mental health service? What experience do you have working with patients with mental health conditions? What strategies do you use to manage your time, organise work tasks and set priorities each day? Describe your knowledge and skills in providing group and individual activities in a mental health setting. Describe how you have demonstrated basic computer skills. The names and contact details of two (2) current referees who can attest to your suitability for this role.
