About the role The Allied Health Assistant Position works within the acute and rehabilitation units at Bloomfield Hospital, Mental Health Drug and Alcohol inpatient services. The role will involve assisting allied health professionals in running groups, individual interventions, and the ward program. The allied health assistant will support a diverse allied health team, including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Social Work, Diversional Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietitians, and an Education Officer.
The Allied Health Assistant Position will be managed under the Occupational Therapy department, with supervision and education opportunities provided.
