The Opportunity: Working with our Allied Health therapy team you will use a therapeutic approach to help individuals with developmental disorders improve various behaviours, skills, and quality of life.
You will:
Support families to implement supportive strategies into their everyday livesProvide coaching and support for families, group programs and individual therapy, linking families with community supports, as well as supporting families and therapists with administrative tasksWork closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, leadership and support are provided to deliver quality services and supportsEnsure a focus on continuous improvement through regular evaluation, training and reviewWork as part of a multidisciplinary teamWhat do you need to join? Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families!No qualification is required; however, experience with children and families with additional needs (including lived experience) is essential.Working towards a relevant Allied Health qualification – will suit 3rd or 4th year students.Knowledge of the NDIS is highly desirable.Strong communication and organisational skills.Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and ability to work autonomously in the community once you are developed in the role.Compliance – Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate and First Aid certificate.Apply now:
