Shy Rehab is looking for a passionate, values-driven Allied Health Assistant to join our friendly Gold Coast clinic on a casual basis initially.
What Does Your Day Look Like? Duties and responsibilities are unique and varied due to each individual client having unique needs.
Examples of what you will be doing:
Working with a varied caseload with patients of different ages and abilities within NDIS. Collaborate with a team of OTs, Speech Pathologists, Exercise Physiologists, Support Workers, and other AHAs. Assist participants with the range of individualised therapy plans in line with recommendations from our therapists. Provide social and community support. Pick up and drop off clients from home as required. Transport clients to access medical and community appointments. Note-taking and record keeping to assist in effectively communicating client needs with the team. Let's Hear About The Good Stuff Work/life balance. Ongoing support sessions with the team leader. Yellow Card/NDIS Workers Clearance. First Aid/CPR Certificate. Australian Driver's Licence. Roadworthy and Insured Vehicle. Relevant training or experience.
