As an Allied Health Assistant, your primary role is to provide assistance and support to the multi-discipline team in the delivery of Allied Health services to patients/clients of the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network Community Health, under the supervision of an Allied Health professional.
Duties may include applying a range of specialised clinical screenings and patient treatments, under direction, to patients with complex needs, administrative tasks directly related to a patient intervention or episode of care, and participating in lead group-based therapies and/or education sessions for patients with diverse and complex needs.
Eligibility Please note that this position is multi-classed as either AHA2 or AHA3, and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience. Applicants must be eligible and willing to successfully complete Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent, or Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent. Experience working in a service and knowledge of Allied Health Assistants is essential.
