We are offering temporary full-time and part-time positions in our Allied Health Assistant Pool as they become available in 2025. Positions will be offered at either AHA2 or AHA3 level, depending on your qualifications and experience. If you are driven, compassionate, and looking to grow in your career, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Both AHA2 & AHA3 roles:Assist with patient care activities under the direction of Allied Health Professionals.Help transport and prepare patients for therapy, ensuring privacy, dignity, and comfort.Provide support in personal care needs and assist with physical tasks as part of therapy interventions.Maintain therapy-related records and assist with administrative tasks under Allied Health Professional guidance.Monitor patient responses to treatments and report to supervising Allied Health Professional.AHA3 Specific Responsibilities:Conduct specialised clinical screenings and apply treatments for patients with complex needs.Lead group-based therapy and education sessions as directed by Allied Health Professionals.Supervise and mentor junior Allied Health Assistants and AHA students.Assist with the maintenance of therapy equipment and ensure health and safety compliance.What We're Looking For:AHA3: Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent, with proven experience in healthcare. Ability to handle more complex patient care tasks, including delivering group interventions and supervising junior staff. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing needs.AHA2: Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (or currently studying). Aptitude for supporting patient care under supervision, with strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn.
