The Allied Health – Advanced Clinician utilises their advanced level clinical skills to provide clinical leadership in emergency, acute medical and surgical, sub-acute and rehabilitation continuum of care for patients and families within CQHHS. Working in collaboration with Medical and Nursing teams to evaluate clinical pathways and innovative care models striving to address and advocate for complex patient needs.

About the role:The Allied Health – Advanced (Acute) Clinician will utilise advanced level clinical skills in at least one area of Allied Health practice, as well as extended skills across a range of allied health disciplines to provide day-to-day clinical leadership in the interdisciplinary delivery of Allied Health services across emergency, acute medical and surgical, sub-acute and rehabilitation continuum of care for patients and families within CQHHS.
About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Mandatory possession of an Allied Health qualification from a registered tertiary institution. Certified copies of the required qualification must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to commencement of duties.Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with a current annual practicing certificate is essential, or for members of non-registered and self-regulated professions, eligibility for professional membership of the relevant professional association.Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role would be well regarded.Ability to lead and co-ordinate advanced Allied Health service provision through stakeholder engagement, initiating, planning, implementing, and evaluating local service improvement initiatives. Ability to provide clinical practice supervision and support to multi-disciplinary allied health clinicians and students and the operational workforce at a service-wide level.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $14,335 p.m. is comprised of:
