Contract – 12+ months long term preferred Pay: From $35-40 per hour depending on experience (Contract with leave and super) A professional and loving family in Allambie Heights are seeking a gentle, calm and attentive nanny to care for their 2 yr old boy.
The days and normal hours are: 2 days – 16 hours per week (The family could potentially be interested in adding a third day depending on candidate's availability. Also can be a little flexible on finishing time)
Monday 8.00am – 4.30pm
Tuesday 8.00am – 4.30pm
An ideal nanny will be experienced, kind and calm, with a happy and gentle personality.
A nanny that is experienced in early childhood, is responsive, attentive, open to engaging and having fun with the child, spending time indoors and outdoors and providing stimulating and creative activities which will support the child's learning milestones and development.
A nanny that is reliable, flexible and honest and can follow routines and structure the day. The family are looking for a nanny who will build a lovely bond with their beautiful little boy and become part of a loving family. Someone who has a genuine passion for child care.
The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows: To care for the childFollow the child's routinePlay and engage in age-appropriate creative activities to assist in the child's developmentTake the child on outings and to activities when required (i.e. library, playground/parks, walks, etc.)Preparation of meals and snacks for the child would be idealRun errands and pick up grocery items (occasionally)Laundry – Child only (Hanging out/folding, etc.)Light household duties: Tidying up after meal times, tidying up the play area after it's been used, putting things back where they are found before finishing a shift (e.g. balls back in the bucket, water toys packed away, bike and helmet hung up downstairs, etc.)The family has an older dog who will need fresh water and to be given breakfastThe family's expectations from their nanny are: 5+ years experience as a nanny or working in child careHave a current first aid certificate and be comfortable using an epipen if necessary.Have a current working with children's check numberDisplay strong communication skills and speak English #J-18808-Ljbffr
