Your role in our journey: We're looking for a casual Returns Host to join our team at our Walkers Base in Hobart, ready to start on 04th November. We have an exciting casual opportunity for a Returns Host, working afternoon and evening shifts, to be based at our Walkers Base in Hobart. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work afternoon and evening shifts in a rewarding and scenic environment.
As a Returns Host, you'll be an essential part of our operations, ensuring the smooth return of guests from their trips and preparing for the next day's adventures. Your role includes assisting Bushwalking Guides and Trip Support Officers with logistical tasks, maintaining guest comfort, and helping with gear preparation. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and love supporting memorable experiences, this could be the perfect fit!
Key Responsibilities: Be the friendly face that welcomes guests back after their hike, ensuring they feel taken care of Manage the setup of guest areas – from food to luggage – creating a seamless end to their day Support trip departures and arrivals by coordinating with guides and ensuring everything is ready Help keep our spaces clean, comfortable, and ready for the next group of adventurers What you will bring: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team Comfortable working afternoons and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
