Position Brief The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and completion of precast concrete projects from inception to final handover. This includes managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and client relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
Position Description Project Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials. Budget Management: Track project budgets, manage expenses, and ensure financial targets and cost-effectiveness are met. Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, providing regular updates, and addressing concerns. Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to align project activities. Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines and objectives. Quality and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices through regular site visits and audits. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure proactive issue resolution. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favourable terms. Issue Resolution: Resolve project-related issues and disputes in a timely and effective manner. Reporting: Prepare and generate regular project reports, detailing progress, budget status, and any deviations from the plan for key stakeholders and senior management.
