With membership growing exponentially and a strong focus on providing affordable lifestyle and aged care options for retirees in WA, the organisation ensures that all services provided are suitably tailored to the local community.
Following a period of change and renewal, our client is looking to appoint a hands-on CEO to:
Maintain organisational sustainability and growth Continue and expand upon the range of innovative services currently being offered to the community Whilst strong business acumen, current networks, and the ability to effectively drive projects and initiatives are critical, a natural capacity to treat others with compassion, fairness, and respect at all times is also required. Essentially, the organisation seeks an ethical leader with a genuine passion and commitment to community who is effectively able to balance the organisation's mission and values with an appropriately commercial approach.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will have the following:
Considerable experience in providing high-level strategic leadership and management - ideally this experience will be within a service delivery environment as a leader in a small to medium organisation or attained in a senior leadership position of a large organisation Essential experience and understanding of aged care legislation and regulations Experience or knowledge overseeing funded programs including compliance, governance, and risk management Well-developed budgeting, financial and analytical skills and the confidence to achieve results and diversify revenue streams in a changing funding environment Knowledge of not-for-profit organisations and experience of quality accreditation processes Excellent people management skills Experience and/or contacts with key stakeholders and community networks Whilst not essential, a tertiary qualification in community services, business management or other relevant tertiary qualification will be well regarded In return, you will be rewarded by leading an innovative community-based organisation that is strongly supported by a forward-thinking Board, with an attractive location and an open growth strategy.
