Are you a Commercial Manager or Contracts Specialist that has a passion for complex projects and wants to shape the future of Australia's defence and national security landscape?

About us
Aldermane is an award-winning NewLaw firm that seeks to ensure the safety of Australia through the delivery of cutting-edge Defence projects and major Government programs.
We work directly with our clients to resolve major contracting, strategic, and security issues, so that the Australian Defence Force remains operational and ready to protect people just like you.

We are a young and vibrant team of lawyers, consultants, and project advisory specialists who want to deliver our services differently.
By adopting a flexible legal and service delivery model, we can adapt to our clients' needs and service them in an agile way, without the constraints of operating in a traditional firm environment.

We were recently named the Government Team of the Year at the 2023 Australian Law Awards, and are seeking to grow in our core Defence and security practice areas.

About you

Ideally, this will be gained in a Defence or related national security context (e.g., with exposure to the ASDEFCON suite of contracts or related Commonwealth procurement suites).

Relevant experience could include commercial and contracts law, probity, evaluations, approach-to-market development and tendering, negotiations, and procurement and contract management – although we are keen to hear from those with a diverse background in equivalent areas.

This role would suit a range of experience levels, and we are always on the lookout for great people - if you have relevant experience, regardless of career years, please apply.
