What you'll be doing
The ACM Senior Clinician will provide specialist clinical services to clients presenting with chronic and severe alcohol or other drug dependence who experience multiple and complex needs. The senior clinician will provide supervision to other clinicians on the team to develop linkages and referral pathways across a range of community-based services.
Selection Criteria Tertiary qualification in Social Work from an accredited course providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).Demonstrated evidence of extensive experience in the assessment, care planning and treatment of clients with alcohol and other drugs issues and complex co-morbidities.Demonstrated experience in providing clinical supervision and professional expertise.Demonstrated understanding of an integrated care approach.Demonstrated negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills.Demonstrated commitment to working with Aboriginal patients, families and communities.High level written and verbal communication skills.Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires.Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases
