About The Role
Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting business growth? Akura is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Bathurst office. This role is pivotal in providing support and coordination to drive business development initiatives and ensure the success of our sales and marketing efforts.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and Marketing, you will play a key role in managing leads, engaging with investors, developers, builders, and owner-occupiers over the phone, and coordinating appointments and follow-ups. You'll be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth communication and efficient processes as we grow our presence across the Eastern Seaboard.

Key Responsibilities
Identify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) from industry-focused databases. Evaluate MQLs to determine Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) based on specific criteria. Research and capture key decision-maker details, securing multiple contacts when necessary. Engage with qualified prospects via phone or email to understand project parameters and specific requirements. Conduct outbound calls to decision-makers, followed up with targeted emails and relevant information. Lay the foundation for building long-term relationships with prospective customers. Track project timelines and progress consistently, ensuring proactive follow-ups. Determine the right time to transition projects to the Field Sales team for further action. Meet KPIs by generating high-quality leads through effective outbound efforts. Take initiative to build and maintain an updated prospect database. Provide valuable feedback on market trends, customer needs, and project status. Set professional benchmarks in communication and telesales effectiveness. Continuously participate in training to enhance personal and professional skills. Perform additional tasks as directed by management to support broader business objectives. About You
