Senior Reporting Specialist & Business Analyst A rewarding 2-year fixed term full time opportunity for an experienced Senior Reporting Specialist and Business Analyst to join the OneSKY program.
Location: Melbourne, Canberra, or Brisbane based.
The Role & The Team:
As the Senior Reporting Specialist & Business Analyst , you will be working as part of a joint program team with both Airservices and Defence personnel in the OneSKY Program.
You will work closely with the Reporting Coordinator/s, Strategic Advisor, OneSKY program teams and other teams in the broader organisation to contribute to the overall performance of the Program.
The role adds value by providing effective, consistent, and accurate reporting across all levels of the organisation, including up to the Airservices Board of Directors, as well as to Defence, Government, Civil Aviation Safety Authority, and other key stakeholders.
You will form an integral part of the OneSKY Program as a high-performing and accountable member of the team, and continue to deliver Airservices record of Safety, Environmental, WHS, Risk and Compliance excellence.
You will also be responsible for synthesizing and analysing diverse sources of data to provide insights into the performance of the various projects within the program.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that program effectiveness, efficiency, and impact are clearly understood by stakeholders.
The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, consolidate, and interpret data, facilitating informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
The Person:
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications, knowledge, and skills:
Business or quality management qualification preferably with supporting experience (desirable).
Project Management qualification with supporting experience (desirable).
Demonstrated experience in developing simple to complex reports/ memos/ briefs for a variety of audiences (Senior management, C-Level Executives, Board, Government Department/s) and purposes for large-scale complex Programs.
Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
Demonstrated ability to manage high workloads, set priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively and flexible to changing circumstances and priorities.
High level of attention to detail in the development and production of reports and other artefacts.
Demonstrated ability to establish strategic relationships to deliver outcomes mature knowledge of and strong experience in the application of Program and Project compliance monitoring and reporting.
Proven ability to achieve objectives in a complex commercially focused environment.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with program management concepts and performance measurement methodologies.
Security Clearance:
Applicants must be eligible for an Airservices Identification Card (AIC) and have the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government National Security Baseline Clearance to apply for this position (Australian citizenship is a requirement).
