team to identify and drive both continuous improvement initiatives and new programs of work across our business unit.You will also be responsible forworking with the relevantAirport Authority to plan, manage and deliver substantial infrastructure projects within your respective port.Utilising your project management experience, you will help develop strategic and practical solutions and convert these into a tactical execution plan and take responsibility for delivering on that plan.As the resident expert, this role will work in a matrix fashion to develop a program roadmap to capture and monitor projects, risks and impacts to operations.With your broad airport operations and projectmanagement knowledge, you will assess Airport Authority plans together with internal Qantas stakeholders across various workstreams.Youwill develop and execute project plans for delivery with consideration to Portrequirements,and ensuring operational, safety and customer experience strategic objectivesare met.In addition, you will be articulate, analytical and commercial and will be expected to provide regular updates to the Airports Leadership Team and the Airport Infrastructure Teams on the progress of projects and programs and tracking to critical milestones.This role requires a dynamic person with excellent interpersonal, analysis, facilitation, change management and presentation skills to support the implementation of strategic port initiatives.You'llhave – Minimum 5 years' experience in project management and implementations within a large environmentProven ability to manage complex projects or initiatives across multiple areas or business units within a large complex organisation, in a dynamic operating environmentProven background in business improvement, continuous improvement or project management roles within a large complex organisation Tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Change, or equivalent industry experience areadvantageousProject management and/or Continuous Improvement qualifications, such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, MSP, Lean Six Sigma Strong background in delivery or implementation methodologies, risk management and principles of change Ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders at senior management and all levels of the organisationAbility to assess the impact of change to people, customers and operations and to monitor and report accordinglyAbility and confidence to quickly identify key opportunities, risks and issues in any business, and develop strategies or plans to capitalise on these opportunities or resolve risks and issues Strong customer focus with the ability to build constructive and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Excellent relationship management skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of the organisation Strong commitment to business improvement and ability to drive change and make things happen Why
