TheOpportunity We arelooking for suitable candidates to join our Airport Team as anAirport Reporting Officer. The role is responsiblefor maintaining compliance with Civil Aviation Safety Regulationswhilst carrying out allocated works programs and undertaking minorrepairs of services associated with the airport, grounds andfacilities at the East Kimberley Regional Airports (EKRA) inKununurra and Wyndham.
This role isalso responsible for:
Maintaining the terminaland airside security control including managing airside access,escorts and issuing of Visitor Identification Cards(VIC); Responding to emergencyand security situations, accidents and participating in regularexercises; Enforcing the provisionsof the EKRA Safety Management System (SMS); Ensuringall gardens and airport terminal/s and facilities aremaintained and presented to a high standard at alltimes; Assisting in the removalof immobilized aircraft in order to maintain availability offacility; Monitoring and enforcingASIC compliance requirements and airside vehicle control inaccordance with the Airport Manual and TSP; A currentAviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), Aerodrome ReportingOfficer & Aerodrome Works Safety Officer Certificate, AircraftRadiotelephone Operator Certificate of Proficiency, WhiteConstruction Safety Card Current, Senior First Aid Certificate andunrestricted WA "C" Class Drivers Licence; areessential for this role, however we are happy to provide therequired training where necessary. You will also havedemonstrated experience with gardening and small plant, ability towork with minimal supervision, in a team environment. Youwill have highly developed customer service skills, good timemanagement skills, developed interpersonal, written and verbalcommunication, and a passion for safety in theworkplace.
