Cloncurry Shire Council is seeking a Full time Airport Reporting Officer to join the team at the Cloncurry Airport.Benefits include:$71,800 to $75,800 per annum (dependent on qualifications/experience) + Superannuation -With overtime, total annual earnings generally average $100,000+ ( OT is not guaranteed )5 weeks Annual Leave(with 17.5% Leave Loading)Monthly RDOPersonal LeaveAbout the RoleThe Airport Reporting Officer is a role that forms a critical component to the success of the airport operations. Thisrole is to ensure that all airport reporting requirements are met in accordance with regulatory bodies such as Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), Department of Home Affairs and also Council's Internal Aerodrome Manual.It is also a requirement of this role to undertake daily maintenance of the airport facility to ensure that regulatory requirements are met and the overall presentation of the airport is maintained to a high standard.Qualification and LicensesHold and maintain an unrestricted C class driver's license.Hold and maintain a current Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or the ability to quickly acquire.Current First Aid and CPR.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct daily inspections of the airside grounds, including boundary checks, runway inspections, wildlife clearing to ensure safe operations of all aircraft.Ensure compliance with regulated airside parking in accordance with relevant procedures and legislationEnsure all visitors, passengers and agents to Cloncurry Aerodrome comply with Council's Workplace Health and Safety requirements and aerodrome operations.Ensure adequate protection, security and maintenance of aerodrome property and equipment assets.Ensure a high standard of presentation of airport grounds and the safe operation of airport activities.Record the daily movements of aircraft arriving and departing from Cloncurry Airport.Monitor weather patterns for the area, at least three (3) time per day.Monitor passenger numbers for RPT and Charter flights to ensure accuracy of airline billings.Carry out enforcement of CASA and Home Affairs legislative requirements.CASA recognised Airport Reporting Officer and Work Safety Officer.Aeronautical Radio Operator CertificateA, B firearms license.A current senior First Aid Certificate.Other plant and machinery tickets or competencies.Applications Close Friday 21 June 2024 at 12pmFor further information please contact the HR Team on 4742 4100.Cloncurry Shire Council reservesthe right to commence recruitment prior to the closing date should a suitable applicant apply#J-18808-Ljbffr
