Aviation Services (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Aerodrome Management Services (AMS) is a professional services company providing a wide range of technical support and aerodrome management services to aerodrome owners and operators across Australia.
Our growing team of aviation specialists provides support to our clients in the areas of aerodrome design, project management and construction, maintenance, technical inspections and aerodrome surveys, operational readiness, airport security, training, regulatory compliance, audits and ongoing daily operations.
About the role Aerodrome Management Services is currently seeking experienced fulltime and casual Airport Reporting Officers (ARO's) for various regional and remote locations.
Rostering arrangements are subject to site requirements with the point of hire being Cairns or Darwin.
As an ARO you will ensure the safe and secure operation of the airside environment in accordance with relevant regulations and company SOPs.
About you You understand the vital importance of aerodromes to the aviation industry, and you already know this niche sector has a lot going for it! AMS will provide ongoing training and professional development to support this next step in your career, but you'll already be off to a great start if you have previous experience in the following areas: A minimum of 1 years' ARO experience in a highly regulated environment ARO qualified by RTO Able to see patterns in complex situations, assess problems, processes and practices Able to adapt to and work effectively within a variety of situations and understanding and appreciating different and opposing perspectives Initiative driven, who can is responsible and accountable for own practices and standard of work and able to work with minimal supervision Committed to achieving company and personal objectives Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and appropriately with members of the community, and staff throughout the company Radio Operators Certificate of Proficiency What we offer Professional growth and ongoing development Inclusive work environment All Uniforms/PPE What's next We'd love to hear from you!
