What you'll be doing: As the Airport Planner your role is to actively contribute to the development of Virgin's airports infrastructure roadmap.
This role will provide key support in the ongoing engagement with airports on each of their master plans and development proposals to ensure these plans deliver fit for purpose infrastructure aligned to Virgin Australia's growth, operational and customer objectives. The Airport Planner role will play a key role in the Airports & Property Team, providing subject matter expert feedback, recommendations and support.
You'll be great in this role if you: Have a minimum of 2+ years' experience working in a similar Airport Planning role within a large complex organisation in the Aviation sectorCome with strong analytical, infrastructure planning and design skillsHave the ability to communicate complex infrastructure issues both verbally and in writing.Are an effective problem-solver that enables the development of creative solutions that meet the needs of Virgin Australia's stakeholdersLove working in cross-functional teams, co-creating solutions that deliver the best operational outcomes while enhancing our guest products and experienceHave comprehensive knowledge of airport planning and design principles, standards and methodologiesAre advanced in Excel and have a high-level familiarity with other Microsoft Office software5+ years' experience (desirable)PowerBi and AutoCAD (desirable)What you'll get from us We're committed to looking after you, with some of the best benefits and conditions in the industry – including (but not limited to):
