Airport Development Group (ADG) owns and manages diverse infrastructure assets across the Northern Territory including airports, hotels, aviation, and commercial buildings. Investing, developing, and managing long term infrastructure to grow the Territory and Northern Australia.
Management Accountant We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for the preparation of the ADGconsolidated results (management & statutory), budgets and forecasts along with playing a key role in the maintenance & improvements of the reporting systems.
Key Responsibilities Monthly preparation of the consolidated financial results and supporting information for presentation to boards of directors, management, shareholders, and governing and statutory bodies Biannual preparation of the consolidated financial results for statutory reporting purposes Preparation and consolidation of the annual budget Preparation and consolidation of the quarterly forecast Coordinating with various stakeholders in formulating departmental/cost center budgets Analyzing operating costs, income and expenditure and provide assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports Provision of technical accounting advice to business on complex, new or emerging accounting issues Managing and support of the consolidation system Managing any changes (entity hierarchies and other changes) to the accounting systems Assist with other new system implementation improvements and projects Other ad-hoc duties Selection Criteria Essential Bachelor Degree in Business / Commerce / Economics / Finance CPA / CA qualifications Strong technical accounting skills including consolidation accounting Advanced financial reporting experience Excellent information systems skills including Excel and reporting packages Demonstrated business partnering skills and ability to work as part of a team Planning, Project Management & Organization skills Strong commitment and willingness to consistently meet tight reporting deadlines Pass an Australian Federal Police Check as applicable Desirable Experience within a Big 4 Chartered Firm Knowledge of TechnologyOne ERP, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite of software Ability to work with remote offices or multiple sites Key Performance Indicators Delivering accurate financial results Meeting deadlines Development of and continuous improvement of processes ADG offers a competitive salary with a range of benefits including:
