OverviewOur client is looking for able and enthusiastic Airport Customer Service & Ramp Staff.
Location:Ballina NSW
Pay Rate:$30 to $33 p/h + Super + Shift Loading
Roles: Airport Customer ServiceDuties will include but not be limited to:
Greeting customers with a smile at Check-inProcessing and checking travel documents meet requirementsAssigning seats on the aircraftPreparing and issuing boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchersGate boardingPassenger MarshallingDisruption ManagementCriteria: Impeccable grooming and deportment.High proficiency in spoken and written English.Proficient computer skills.Pass Drug, Alcohol and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months employment).Capable of obtaining an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months employment).Ability to work weekends and Public Holidays including Christmas.Ability to work any shift from 05:00am to 11:00pm.Commit to shift lengths of 4 hours per day.Available for 2 weeks' full-time training.Airport Ramp StaffDuties will include:
Bag Room functions: scanning and manual handling luggage.Loading / unloading baggage & freight.Aircraft Receipt & Dispatch.Operating Ground Service Equipment on Ramp.Criteria: Driver's License (including Provisional License).ASIC Card or willingness to obtain.Ability to work weekends and Public Holidays including Christmas.Ability to work any shift from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM.Commit to shift lengths between 4 - 7 hour shifts.Available for 2 - week full-time training (Monday - Friday).Please note that due to the nature of this work we unfortunately can NOT accept student VISAs (Subclass 500).
