About The Company Our client is the global leader for crew accommodation solutions, and they are changing the way businesses manage travel.
Their technology platform streamlines the entire crew planning process, making day-to-day operations more efficient and elevating the crew layover experience and we are looking for dynamic, creative, and tech savvy individuals to join the team.
About The Role The Airline Support Specialist processes hotel and ground transportation reservations, transacting with hotel and ground transportation partners, whilst providing professional, courteous and friendly customer service to airline staff.
This role is perfect for those from the travel or aviation industry who are seeking to move into a corporate position.
This role will be a onsite position directly with one of Australia's largest airlines.
This is a temporary to permanent role, with operating hours from Monday to Friday (including shifts that fall on public holidays), alternating between morning shifts (6:30am-2:30pm) and afternoon shifts (2:00pm-10pm) every 4 weeks.
Duties: Process hotel and ground transportation reservations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in transactions with hotel and ground transportation partners.
Provide professional, courteous, and friendly customer service to  airline customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Play a pivotal role in reflecting airline operational changes to clients, hotels, and transportation partners, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Skills & Experience Knowledge of airline crew scheduling is highly advantageous.
Prior experience with GDS systems, hotel reservation systems, airline reservation systems and/or related functions preferred but not required.
Excellent computer skills.
Ability to remain adaptable and build relationships with external stakeholders as well as internal team.
There may be opportunities to work overtime on weekends.
