Introduction: As Trip.com continues to experience business growth in the Oceania region, we have a fantastic opening for a driven and commercially savvy Senior Airline Account Manager to join our welcoming team in Sydney. Reporting to the Airline Director - Oceania, you will be tasked with developing and implementing the airline commercial strategy aimed at enhancing growth and market share throughout the Oceania region. This position involves overseeing airline initiatives and strategic projects that establish Trip.com as a premier Online Travel Agency partner in the area. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teams in Australia as well as across the APAC region, hence we seek someone who is flexible, innovative, and a collaborative team player!
In this Role, you'll get to: Work with various internal stakeholders including Marketing, Flight Product, Revenue Management, and Operational teams in both Shanghai and across the APAC region.Establish effective networking partnerships between new and existing contacts to support the development and implementation of innovative commercial business opportunities.Provide analyses of competitive environments and identify proactive sales and commercial initiatives accordingly.Analyse complex data and use insights to drive revenue-generating/share-shifting actions for the flights line of business.Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders and potential business partners; represent Trip.com at all airline and industry events in the Oceania region.Manage & negotiate various global, regional, and local commercial agreements with key airline partners and implement initiatives and strategies to drive commercial effectiveness.What you'll Need to Succeed: Role will be based in Sydney, Australia.Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.Excellent presentation and communication skills.Results oriented with experience working to strict deadlines.Experience developing and implementing initiatives to drive performance with key airline partners.Ability to work autonomously and lead a wide variety of projects at a time whilst working to strict deadlines.Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; must be able to use data to identify underlying trends and make informed commercial decisions.Self-starter mentality, intrinsically motivated and comfortable blazing a completely new path and defining innovative solutions for our airline partners.Proven experience with leading and closing commercial negotiations with airline partners.Consistent and proven track record in successfully managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.Bachelor's degree or above, with a minimum of 4-5 years of commercial experience within an Airline or Travel Agency environment.Language ability: Proficient in English.Why Trip.com Group We offer a stage to unleash your full potential and drive global impact.
