Our 1000 employees provide complete military and commercial aviation modernization and upgrade solutions, including structural and avionics upgrades, aircraft component repair and overhaul, integrated logistics support, stripping and painting, field service support, and technical publications.Our specialized aviation facilities include component repair, overhaul and machining, aircraft hangars, structural design and analysis, full-scale fatigue testing, and aircraft fatigue management.About your next Challenge as an Aircraft Structure Technician:As an aircraft structure technician (ACS), you will be responsible for structural changes on CF188 while performing repairs related to paint, composite repairs, and the aircraft structure.What You Will Do:Perform structural modifications in accordance with Canadian Forces Technical Orders (CFTO), technical drawings, standards of materials and processes, and work instructions;Work in the paint, composite repairs, or metal shop as necessary;Attend training/information sessions as required;Keep Lead Hand or Supervisor informed on technical problems and schedule issues;Follow Tool Control rules and regulations;Consult reference documentation such as CFTOs and other related documentation;Complete forms and aircraft registers properly;Carry out tasks as assigned by the Lead Hand or Team Supervisor.The aircraft structure technician (ACS) must comply with the administrative and technical regulations of the establishment regarding:Health and Safety;Flight Safety;Documentation and records;Work Instruction;Process specifications.Required Skills and Experiences:Aircraft Refinishing, including aircraft and components painting, Alodine, and Sealant application;Aircraft structural repairs (secondary and tertiary structures);General metal work including heat treatment processes;Basic composite repairs.Eligibility Criteria:Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada "Reliability" status and/or Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;For on-site positions, our location is not accessible by public transport; car/carpooling required.Keys to Your Success:Well-developed communication and presentation skills in French and English;A team player that takes initiative and is proactive;Adaptable and flexible in managing multiple priorities.What We Offer:Work-life balance with flexible working hours;
