About the Role
We are currently seeking Aircraft Maintenance Engineers – Structures, Mechanical or Avionics, or people who hold equivalent trade qualifications to join our team located at RAAF Base Richmond. We provide heavy maintenance and modifications for the Royal Australian Air Force's fleet of CJ Hercules. Airbus will provide CJ type-training as a part of your on-boarding experience and support your professional development such as further education, leadership development and unlimited access to a range of online training.

Work Hours
Airbus operates to a 4-day work week (38 hours), Mon – Thu (6.00 am – 4.00 pm), with overtime available.
About You
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have a strong attention to detail as well as good verbal and written skills. The knowledge, skills and experience best suited to this role would include:
Hold any of the below qualifications or greater:Cert IV in Aeroskills DASR 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence EASA Category B Examination Credits Cert in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 4) (NZ) Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 5 or greater) (NZ) NVQ Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (UK) Craft Certificate - Aircraft Mechanics (IRE) Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices Valid Driver's License and Passport Other experience that would be highly regarded includes: Experience in CJ maintenance is highly desirable. Experience in heavy maintenance is desirable. Any military aircraft maintenance experience is favourable. About Airbus

Airbus in Australia Pacific
With employees at sites across Australia and New Zealand, Airbus in Australia Pacific has access to the financial strength and expertise of Airbus Helicopters and Airbus. In Australia, Airbus provides MRO support to the P-8 Poseidon aircraft and C-J Hercules transports for the Royal Australian Air Force's (RAAF) and 22 ARH Tiger armed reconnaissance helicopters for the Australian Army.
