This will include undertaking aircraft maintenance activities in support of Product Support Training & Maintenance (PST&M) - MRO Services Capability. Tasking may include system modification, manufacture, and/or assembly activities for aircraft and aircraft component maintenance.Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements and be able to meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITARS).ResponsibilitiesMaintain individual qualifications and certifications associated with Cert IV Aeroskills - Structures IAW the Boeing Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE)Adhere to all approved maintenance processes and proceduresEnsure all maintenance has been completed and that corrective maintenance actions satisfy the task requirementsCarry out aircraft and/or component maintenance duties, including task completion, certification, and finalisation, in accordance with maintenance authorisationUse equipment only in accordance with authorised instructions consistent with its safe and proper useExperience/QualificationsHold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures) - EssentialHold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) - EssentialHold a C class driver's licence - EssentialDemonstrate a sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and the DASR 145 aircraft maintenance regulatory framework - EssentialDemonstrate a contemporary working knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) practices - EssentialPrior maintenance experience in 737 NG or derivative aircraft - DesirableSecurity ClearanceYou will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Negative Vetting One) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
