Your Role As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical at our RAAF base Amberley Hanger, you will perform maintenance tasks on the fleet of C-27J Spartan aircraft. You will work under the DASR 145 Maintenance regulations and assist the crew team leader in ensuring all tasks and responsibilities comply. Participating in small working groups, you will aid the development of future base maintenance state and capability.
About You To be successful in this role, you will possess a Certificate IV in Aero skills (Mechanical) and be able to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance. You will have thorough knowledge of the structure and use of interactive technical publications. You will be passionate about the aviation industry and have a willingness to learn. We are passionate about growing our own; if you wish to progress and move into a leadership position, we would encourage and support you in this.
If you do not already hold a C-27J type course, we would look at putting you through one as soon as possible.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen.
