As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) you will be responsible for maintenance and modification of the EC135 Mechanical systems and associated equipment.ResponsibilitiesAircraft flight-line handling and servicing dutiesRemoval and installation of aircraft componentsDisassembly and reassembly of aircraft componentsPreparation and use of aircraft support equipment and inspectionMaintenance, servicing, repair and fault diagnosis of components and systems operating in both the line maintenance and base maintenance environments.Experience/QualificationsCertificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical)Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation. Previous experience working on rotary wing aircraftAbility to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit, and organisational goalsFlexibility with working hours and locationsHold or be able to obtain a "Baseline" Security Clearance as per Defence Department requirementsWillingness to reside in Oakey areaDesirable CriteriaCurrent B1.3 MAML or the ability to obtainCert IV StructuresPrevious experience working on rotary wing aircraftEC135 series Aircraft Type courseSafran Arrius B2 line 1 and 2 maintenance trainingSecurity Clearance/EligibilityYou will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Baseline) sponsored by BDA.
