Who are we looking for? We are currently looking for expressions of interest from highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Mechanical or Avionics) to join our team in Sydney, NSW. If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.
Brief Position Outline: Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment;Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.The essential requirements Hold a Cert IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics)Experience in A320/321 V2500 and NEO LEAP 1-A CASAA-Check experience is highly desirableBe familiar with aviation regulatory requirements and standards, particularly regarding airworthiness and maintenance controlHave experience working within a Safety Management SystemProven ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels within a teamBe practical and resourceful with demonstrated organisational and problem-solving skillsBe resourceful with a can-do attitudeShifts will be primarily a Mon-Thursday, 4 on 3 off night shift roster.
