Join us and discover just how far you can go!Role IntroductionCathay Pacific is looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our fantastic Perth Engineering team to perform maintenance on Cathay Pacific and third party aircrafts.
This is a permanent, full-time position.This role reports to the Engineering Manager and is pivotal in ensuring that a high level of safety, reliability, security and presentation is provided to the company, customers and regulatory authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform aircraft line maintenance for Cathay Group aircraft and third party customers under supervision of the Licensed Engineer or Engineering Manager Perform servicing and maintenance for station ground equipment, vehicles, systems and facilitiesSupport the contingency plans and ad hoc operational requirements such as diversions, charters, ad hoc aircraft type changes, major disruption recovery, etc.Provide and deliver a high level and personalised service to customers Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with local Occupational Health & Safety standardsRequirementsCertificate IV or Diploma in Aircraft MaintenanceExperience with wide-body aircraft types, including B787, B777, A350, A330, A380 and B747-8 Freighter aircraftsExcellent organisational skillsAttention to detail and high level accuracy is imperativeSensitive to the requirements of different cultures and personalitiesAbility to communicate clearly and effectivelyProven ability to operate effectively with limited information and working independently without supervisionAbility to work safely under time pressuresWilling to work appropriate shifts on a 24 hour, seven day a week roster pattern in accordance with operational requirementsBenefitsBe part of the Cathay Pacific family and join a dynamic team culture working for one of the world's Top 10 Global AirlinesMake the most of your leave and take advantage of travel industry discounts including flights, hotels, tours and car hireEnjoy Health benefits with 50% off private health insurance premiums (company-paid)Fly high with career development opportunities to diversify your skills and experience within the Cathay Pacific familyPersonal & Application InformationIf you would like to apply for this role.
