Our Base Maintenance team is expanding, and we have multiple opportunities within our Mechanical Maintenance Engineering team. As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will be responsible for:
Performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers' and company specifications to a high standard. Working with a range of specialist teams within Brisbane in a hangar environment, ensuring excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability, and service. What You'll Need: Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical). Relevant Aircraft Maintenance trade experience (Mechanical). Extensive servicing experience on A320, A330, and B737 aircraft in a base maintenance environment (advantageous). Thorough knowledge and understanding of Qantas Maintenance procedures (advantageous). Commitment to all safe working practices and service standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Customer-focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required. Highly developed attention to detail. Demonstrated high ethical/behavioral standards and self-discipline. Ability to work rotating shift rosters.
