As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will play an essential role in upkeep and care activities at APAS' aircraft storage facility in Alice Springs.
Key Responsibilities: Aircraft Maintenance & Storage Induction:Conduct comprehensive narrow and wide-body aircraft storage induction, including engine/APU preservation.Handle routine maintenance checks, ensuring all aircraft adhere to strict quality measures.Manage customer work directives, aircraft assessments, and ADs, and guarantee timely actions.Work closely with Licenced Engineers on significant Aircraft Reactivation checks, including tasks such as engine de-preservation and gear retraction tests.Engage in component replacements, engine operations, and defect repairs.Apply your technical proficiency to detect and address defects swiftly.Teamwork:Collaborate effectively with a dedicated team of professional Licenced Aircraft Engineers committed to maintenance excellence.Interact directly with top-tier airlines and leaseholders to ensure top-notch customer relations.Regulation Adherence & Forward-Thinking:Maintain strict adherence to all pertinent CASA, EASA, FAA, 2-REG, BCAA, and other NAA Part 145 maintenance permissions.Remain updated with the newest industry advancements and integrate them into APAS' maintenance methodologies.Be part of APAS' continued growth in the Asia-Pacific domain through continuous improvement and adoption of modern solutions.Requirements Qualifications & Skills: Experience working with Boeing and/or Airbus aircraft.Exceptional technical understanding of prominent aircraft models.Strong IT skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office application suite.Inventive troubleshooting and resilience under challenging scenarios.Experience with specified aircraft propulsion systems.Certification for elevated work platforms.Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC).Compensation:- Salary Bracket $75,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation + OvertimeLocation:- APAS Facility, Alice Springs Airport, Alice Springs, Northern Territory.#J-18808-Ljbffr
