Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice Are you looking for a rewarding career with a leading aviation company?
With CASR Part 145 approved bases across the Kimberley and Pilbara regions of Western Australia and a base in South Australia, Aviair proudly provides extensive charter, RPT and tourism services across the Kimberley and Pilbara with a fleet of approximately 30 aircraft.
Aviair predominately maintains its own fleet which includes C510, B200, C208, PC12 and GA8 aircraft.

About the role
Due to the company's continued growth, we are looking for a responsible and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprentice.
You will learn the skills required and receive all the tools to become a B1 Aircraft Engineer while contributing to a productive and safe work environment.
You will receive on-the-job training as well as attend Trade School.

Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include:
Adhere to Aviair Safety and Quality policies Under supervision, learn how to maintain, service and repair company aircraft and carry out planned maintenance in accordance with company and manufacturer's procedures Undertake an approved engineering apprenticeship at the approved Trade School Complete CASR Part 66 modules/exams and attend Trade School as scheduled Ensure pre-Trade School study has been completed in accordance with the module requirements prior to attending Trade School Develop an understanding of Company procedures, through on-the-job training Learn company administrative procedures and how to complete work package documentation Under supervision, ensure all work undertaken meets industry and company work standards At all times act as an ambassador for the company, building and maintaining good relationships with customers, colleagues, and managers Other duties as reasonably requested by the Head of Maintenance To be successful in this role:
Thrive when working as part of a team, be able to follow directions and be a good communicator Have a strong mechanical aptitude Minimum completion of year 10 qualification Good communication skills and works well in a team environment Excellent attention to detail in assigned tasks Eligible to obtain ASIC clearance What we offer you:
