These positions are suitable for people who are CASA licenced, EASA licenced, ex-DASA licenced, and AMEs with C-J type (or similar) experience. Airbus is committed to working with you on transitioning your licence, providing type training and the opportunity to be licenced on type for the C-J Hercules platform.Application ProcessPlease ensure that your application includes your current resume and a copy of your relevant qualifications/certifications.Work HoursAirbus operates to a 4-day work week (38 hours), Mon – Thu (6.00 am – 4.00 pm), with overtime available.About YouTo be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have a strong attention to detail, as well as good verbal and written skills.The knowledge, skills and experience best suited to this role would include:Experience in C-J maintenanceHold any of the below qualifications or greater:Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)DASR 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (or previously held a licence)CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer LicenceEASA Category B Examination CreditsCert in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 4) (NZ)Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 5 or greater) (NZ)NVQ Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (UK)Craft Certificate - Aircraft Mechanics (IRE)Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practicesOther experience that would be highly regarded (however not mandatory) includes:Experience in a heavy maintenance environmentAny military aircraft maintenance experienceYou must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment screening which may include criminal history checks, medical, and drug and alcohol testing.
