About the RoleWe are currently seeking Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team located at RAAF Base Richmond.
These positions are suitable for people who are CASA licenced, EASA licenced, ex-DASA licenced, and AMEs with C-J type (or similar) experience.
Airbus is committed to working with you on transitioning your licence, providing type training and the opportunity to be licenced on type for the C-J Hercules platform.

Work HoursAirbus operates to a 4-day work week (38 hours), Mon – Thu (6.00 am – 4.00 pm), with overtime available.

The knowledge, skills and experience best suited to this role would include:
Experience in C-J maintenanceHold any of the below qualifications or greater:Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)DASR 66 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (or previously held a licence)CASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer LicenceEASA Category B Examination CreditsCert in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 4) (NZ)Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (Level 5 or greater) (NZ)NVQ Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (UK)Craft Certificate - Aircraft Mechanics (IRE)Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practicesOther experience that would be highly regarded (however not mandatory) includes:
Experience in a heavy maintenance environmentAny military aircraft maintenance experienceYou must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment screening which may include criminal history checks, medical, and drug and alcohol testing.
