This role is required to assist project delivery within Arup's growing air quality team, delivering air quality and odour services for both internal and external clients.
Air quality services in the Arup Australasia region are currently delivered by a team of three people, with larger groups of technical specialists located in our UK and Hong Kong offices.
The Opportunity Assist in preparing proposals for air quality services either as part of a multi-disciplinary internal team or in direct collaboration with external clients.Undertake air quality and odour assessments and author both stand-alone technical specialist reports as well as chapters of multi-disciplinary Environmental Assessments, reaching out to more senior team members for technical guidance and ultimate review of assessments.Work independently with confidence, noting the support of more senior members of the air quality team.Be comfortable providing technical mentorship to more junior members of the team.Act as Project Manager for stand-alone air quality projects, as well as having a technical role.
Working closely with the Project Director who has ultimate accountability for the project.Is this role right for you? Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in Mathematics, Meteorology, Science, Engineering or similar area;Relevant air quality and odour assessment experience within a consulting business environment in Australia;Knowledge of regulatory requirements and relevant legislation;Proficiency in WRF, AERMOD and CALPUFF;Membership of CASANZ or other relevant professional institutions is required.What we offer you At Arup, we care about each member's success, so we can grow together.
