Air Conditioning And Duct Work Installer (Sheetmetal)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning and Ductwork Technician with excellent skills in the installation of air conditioning systems and ductwork and expert in sheet metal duct frabrication.
The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in industrial jobs and fit-outs, along with knowledge of demolition practices.
Key Responsibilities: Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job, material, and equipment requirements.
Select metal stock, including stainless steel, galvanized iron, mild steel, aluminum, and copper, ensuring sizes, gauges, and dimensions meet specifications.
Mark out metal stock using reference points and lines, employing templates, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Finish products by polishing, filing, sanding, and cleaning assembled products.
Repair damaged sheet metal products and components as needed.
Specialized in the fabrication, on-site assembly, and installation of sheet metal products.
Shaping and forming cut metal stock into products using folding and bending machines, rollers, presses and hammers Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience in air conditioning installation and ductwork.
Certificate III or IV in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanical, with a valid license.
Speaking fluent english.
