Electrical Specialist Air Compressor Technician (9 day fortnight)South West Compressors is seeking an experienced Air Compressor Technician Electrical Specialist to join our team in Bunbury, WA. This full-time position on a 9-day fortnight work schedule will play a key role in maintaining and servicing our diverse range of air compressor equipment across the region.
What you'll be doing Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on 12v DC, 24v DC, 240v AC, and 415v AC systems in a variety of air compressor systems and equipment.Disconnecting & reconnecting compressor sets, commissioning air compressor sets, and like-for-like replacement of electrical components.Installing electrical components such as electronic auto drains, flow control solenoids, and other similar equipment.Providing advice and guidance to clients on optimizing the performance and efficiency of their air compressor systems.Conducting periodic scheduled maintenance and servicing on air compressors, including component replacements and calibrations when required.Maintaining detailed records of all work completed and parts used.Supporting the broader Trades & Services team with additional duties as required.What we're looking for Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 1 year of experience in industrial/commercial maintenance and repairs.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.Proficient in reading and interpreting equipment manuals, schematics, and technical specifications.Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and provide technical guidance.Well-organized with a keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.A current driver's license and willingness to travel to work sites as needed.What we offer Competitive salary package with opportunities for career progression.Ongoing training and development to enhance your skills.Supportive team environment and access to the latest tools and equipment.Flexible 9-day fortnight work schedule to promote work-life balance.About us South West Compressors is a leading provider of air compressor solutions across Western Australia.
