On site childcare and swimming pool.Lucas Heights, Sutherland Shire location I Flexible Work practices including job sharing.Plan and deliver impactful events.About the OpportunityThe Events and Administration Officer is a varied and exciting role that is responsible for planning and delivering student-focused events at some of Australia's world-class scientific facilities.
Working within AINSE's Communications and Events team, this position will collaborate closely with University students receiving support from the organisation, academics, and scientific staff as part of our long-standing association with ANSTO (the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation).

We are looking for candidates who possess the following six attributes:
Experience in event coordination, including tracking budgets and operating within strict deadlines.Demonstrated interest in science, technology, or engineering.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proven time management and organisational skills, including the ability to plan, schedule and prioritise multiple tasks/projects with a high level of detail.Demonstrated proficiency in using computer software programs, including Microsoft Office.A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and working effectively in a team.Your Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate internal and external events, including logistics and successful implementation of scheduled programs.Develop and source appropriate merchandise.Provide general administrative support for staff and key stakeholders.About UsFor over 60 years, the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering (AINSE) has played an integral role in enhancing the capabilities of Australia and New Zealand in nuclear science, engineering, and related research fields by facilitating world-class research and education.
AINSE provides pathways and networks for collaboration within nuclear science, engineering, and related research fields both nationally and internationally.
Our programs and services aim to foster scientific advancement and promote effective collaboration between over 40 University members across Australia & New Zealand, and ANSTO.
