Duties & Responsibilities Functions ESSENTIAL ¿Developing Written Schemes of Examination/Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) as part of inspectionpreparations ¿Completing First Pass examinations of equipment to accurately identify preparation for inspection andNDT requirements ¿Planning and carrying out NDT inspection of plant and pipework in compliance with Client request/sand workscopes across all certifiedmethods ¿Verifying the application of NDT methods for vessel and pipework inspection and informing NDT personnelof requirements ¿Specifying NDT techniques, where necessary, to maximise the use of non-invasive inspectiontechniques wherepossible ¿Inspectingall: oprocess pressuresystems ostoragetanks osteam generationplant odecommissioned and/or out of serviceequipment osteelstructures in compliance with Company and Client procedures ¿Raising repair orders and corrective MMS work orders when required, providing a detailed description ofthe defect and location together with relevant up-to-date documentation and photographic evidence.
Carrying out repair order close out inspections whenrequired ¿Issuing interim reports of examination, stating the suitability for furtherservice ¿Completing inspection reports with required detail (e.g.
recommended/required actions, next period ofservice between inspections etc.)
within acceptabletimeframes ¿Modifying the Written Scheme based on inspectionfindings ¿Informing the Senior Inspection Engineer, without delay, when any inspected equipment or NDEresults indicate the item is notfit-for-service ¿Reviewing and endorsing NDT reports in a timely manner, instigating inspection queries asrequired ¿Conducting Toolbox Talks for all visiting Inspection/NDT personnel provided for specificjobs ¿Maintaining a thorough and detailed record of dailyactivities ¿Maintaining up-to-date assigned Logs/Registers in accordance with Company and Clientprocedures NON-ESSENTIAL ¿The list of job duties described above is not exclusive or exhaustive and the employee may be required to undertake tasks that may reasonably be expected within the scope of thejob; ¿Assist with any other duties as and when required;and ¿Undertake specific projects as instructed byManagement.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES §This position has NO direct supervisory responsibilities.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP §This position will be reporting to project manager.
Qualifications REQUIRED ¿Degree/Diploma in Engineering related discipline(desirable) ¿AICIP Inspector Certificate or API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector or CSWIP Plant Inspector LevelII ¿Minimum of NDT Level I in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and any other discipline(desirable) ¿TBOSIET ¿Maritime Security Identification Card(MSIC) EXPERIENCE ·A minimum of 5 year's experience in similarrole ·Experience within the inspection/integrityarena ·Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry(desirable) ·Experience working effectively with internal and external stakeholders such as peers, staff groups(outside the formal line of authority), senior management, external vendorsetc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS ¿Demonstrated communication skills - written, verbal and technical to make complex terminology simplefor the benefit of others ¿Ability to generate a team approach to problemsolving ¿Demonstrated working knowledge of design, manufacture, metallurgy, welding, codes, standards, risk assessments and legislation associated with the in-service inspection of plant and equipment ¿Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with the Client and/or contractor at various levels of seniority ¿Knowledge of safety standards (e.g.
Step Back 5x5, JSEA, HSEQ systems etc.)
