The Opportunity Start your apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering as a Fitter Machinist with a leading Australian produce equipment manufacturer. You'll learn in-demand skills as you create parts for equipment that supplies both the domestic and overseas markets. This is a perfect opportunity for someone that loves robotics, technology, and working with metal.
Location Mooroopna, VIC
Duration 4-year fully paid apprenticeship with PPE provided and post-apprenticeship opportunities.
About the Role Learn to use manual lathes and CNC machines to produce a range of parts and components out of metal. Basic fitting and maintenance of equipment. Learn to use a range of hand and power tools. Learn how to examine and understand detailed drawings and specifications. About You Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia. Minimum completion of Year 10 High School. Love technology, robotics, and metalwork. Good attention to detail and math skills. Benefits Finish early on Fridays. The ability to earn money while learning a trade. Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering. Mentoring from experienced industry professionals throughout your apprenticeship. All training fees and PPE paid for.
